George Francis, the nation's oldest man, who lived through both world wars, man's first walk on the moon and the election of the first black president, has died. He was 112.

- I'm middle class and I wasn't hurting during the Bush years. I'm fine with paying my taxes. I receive no services from the government and don't expect to. I'm a single mom (10 years now)with two young teenagers and never expected anything from our government.

- It's obvious that Obama is getting a little irritated that he isn't getting his own way and continuing to pull the wool over all of our eyes. The customers aren't buying this salespitch and with good reason. Get all the "pork" or "earmarks" out of this package-this should only be a stimulus package.

- cpatter-wasn't BO raised by the white side of his family? Didn't his black Daddy essentially blow him off after "the visit" when he was 10 years old. He wouldn't be who he is today if his black side raised him.

- I'm not sure where all these abortions in the US are taking place, but I can't think of one clinic or hospital within 100 miles that performs them and I live in Western Maryland.
